its dumping at alpental

in the spirit of being smart -

I will be heading to alpental tomorrow morning and will ski for 4+ hours. I will be heading up the Edelweiss chair to the upper part of the mountain heading for the backcountry. I will be armed with avalanche beacons, survival gear, and a bright yellow REI ski pack. I will not head into the backcountry without a partner, but I wanted to let you know the specifics, as it is going to be a very very deep powder day tomorrow. I'll call on my way home.
